Tarue Privacy Policy

Tarue is designed as a private, local-first reference tool. This policy explains how the app handles information when you use it.

Information stored on your device

Clue titles, notes, color choices, trail labels, and any image you choose to attach are stored locally on your device so the app can display, organize, search, edit, and delete your records.

How information is used

The app uses local records only to provide its organizational features. It does not operate an account service, social feed, or remote profile for your records.

Sharing and platform boundaries

Tarue does not send your clue records to our servers and does not include advertising, analytics, or tracking services. If you choose an image, the system photo picker may provide that selected item to the app under the permissions you grant through iOS.

Retention and your choices

You can edit or delete individual clues at any time. Delete Local Data removes the app's local records and returns the app to its initial state. Removing the app may also remove locally stored records according to your device settings.

Security

Local storage reduces unnecessary transmission, but no device storage method can guarantee absolute security. Protect your device with the security controls available in iOS.

Children

Tarue is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect information through an online service.
